An old piece of jewelry will look like new if it is properly cleaned. There are many ways to clean your jewelry but I’ll be focusing on cleaning jewelry using homemade products.

Effective Cleaning Methods:
Apple Cider Vinegar
Add two cups of apple cider vinegar in a bowl, soak your jewelry in it for at least 15 minutes and dry it out with a soft cloth when you take it out. All the dirt’s will be removed, leaving your jewelry sparkling.
Mild dish detergent solution
Jewelry made out of Gold can be easily dulled by all the different substances and make-up that you wear every day. The simplest way to clean it is by using a mild dish detergent. Mix a small amount of dish detergent with warm water. Let your jewelry sit for a few minutes in the soap mixture. Use a soft toothbrush to clean our jewelry. After cleaning, remove it from the soap solution and rinse it thoroughly. Make sure to dry it with a soft cloth before storing it away.
Precautions to use these cleaners
While making and using your own homemade cleaner, do not forget to wear gloves to protect your skin. These solutions can be very drying.
